Rewards for Recycling is an Affinity Program. Like frequent flyer or retail loyalty programs, Affinity programs are a marketing concept used to build frequency and loyalty within a specific customer group. R4R utilizes the proven aspects of affinity programs to build frequency and loyalty to the challenge of household recycling habits.
Founded in 2008 as a collaborative effort between a Waste Hauling company and a Marketing Agency, Rewards for Recycling analyzed the challenge of making household recycling a habit and using an incentive program to make it happen. R4R evaluated the other options available that were deemed to be far too costly, burdensome or were subject to system cheating. R4R created a program that is the most cost efficient, customizable and flexible available. Best of all, R4R delivers results that are second to none!
As of March 2018, the Rewards for Recycling program is active in 41 communities representing 6 different states, with over 700,000+ members. We are proud of the program we created and the excellent service we provide. We partner with our clients to consistently develope better ways to encourage curbside recycling.
